Job summary

Our Edmonton office is currently looking for a Corporate Administrative Clerk to join our team. This is a full-time position that assists with various administrative tasks. The candidate must be able to multi-task, prioritize a heavy workload, pay particular attention to detail and have excellent organizational, communication and written skills.  The candidate must also be able to take instructions clearly and run tasks from start to finish independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities include:

  • Opening and closing corporate files
  • Forwarding mail to clients
  • Filing corporate documents in virtual minute books in the corporate database
  • Filing corporate documents in physical minute books
  • Scanning complete physical minute books
  • Scanning complete files into the firm’s document management system
  • Assisting with following up on outstanding accounts and reminder statements
  • Ordering corporate seals for transactions
  • Assisting the corporate team with other corporate tasks as required
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as required

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate of a recognized administrative assistant program (equivalencies will be considered)
  • Minimum of one year of experience as an administrative assistant
  • The ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and as part of the team, demonstrating a positive work ethic
  • Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge of ALF and iManage considered an asset
