International tourism forms a significant part of Canada’s economy. Outdoor adventure tour operators, the hospitality industry, and outfitters rely on foreign nationals coming to Canada as customers or guests. These industries also rely on foreign nationals to form an important part of their workforce in Canada. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, these industries are seeing an overall reduction in international tourism coming to Canada and reduced access to foreign workers.
