MLT Aikins is now accepting applications for the firm’s Indigenous Scholarship, which will award $6,000 to one second-year law student in Canada.
To be eligible, applicants must be in their second year of law school and provide a cover letter, resume, transcripts and a reference from their Indigenous community. Second-year law students across Canada are encouraged to apply by February 17, 2023.
Jorie Halcro was awarded the inaugural MLT Aikins Indigenous Scholarship in March 2022. The next scholarship winner will be named in March 2023.
MLT Aikins is committed to supporting Indigenous perspectives and representation in the legal community. We consistently work to foster a learning environment that supports Indigenous success in the legal profession and beyond.
