Billie Fortier to speak at the Canadian Academy of Legal Studies in Business conference

Calgary lawyer Billie Fortier will join a panel of speakers at the Canadian Academy of Legal Studies in Business (CALSB) conference on April 28-30 in Banff.

The CALSB conference provides a casual forum to discuss current research and pedagogy for Canadian and American teachers and scholars in business law, legal environment and law-related courses outside of professional law schools.

Billie will present on Indigenous Epistemologies in business law to discuss how to incorporate Indigenous perspectives into business law curriculum at post-secondary institutions across Canada. She will be speaking alongside Dr. Patricia Hania and Brian Calliou and the panel will be moderated by Dr. Laura Reimer.
