Czarnecki & Negus Speak at Indigenous HR Skill Builder Conference

On Thursday, April 25, lawyers Shandra Czarnecki and David Negus will present on “Recent Developments in Employment Law” at the 9th Annual Indigenous HR Skill Builder Conference.

This sold-out conference, hosted by Legacy Bowes Group, runs from April 23 to 25 and offers a series of in-depth human resources workshops as well as bootcamps for different experience levels. The content is tailored to address the unique challenges that First Nations communities face. Attendees include band managers, administrators and executive directors, chiefs and councillors, HR managers, program managers, finance managers, community health professionals, social workers and educational leaders.

Shandra and David’s session is set to take place from 9 a.m. to noon, and will cover a variety of labour and employment related topics – from medical and recreational marijuana use to workplace harassment to jurisdictional governance issues.
