MLT Aikins lawyer Daryl Chicoine will present to the Winnipeg Chapter of Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.
In his presentation, Daryl will provide an overview of the Expert Review of Ontario’s Construction Lien Act (the CLA Report). He will speak to the differences in Manitoba’s Builders’ Lien Act as well as some of the key recommendations from the CLA Report, including the consideration of improvements to include prompt payment and dispute resolution under the Act.
