Saskatoon lawyer Erin Bokshowan will speak at a charity law conference in Toronto in May.
On May 12, Erin will join a panel discussion at the Canadian Bar Association’s Charity Law Symposium, a one-day event featuring insights from charity law practitioners from across Canada.
The conference will tackle issues related to professionalism and ethics, as well as the new qualifying disbursement rules for charities, changes to the disbursement quota, new Canada Revenue Agency guidance, donor advised funds and anti-terrorism measures.
Erin joins the Policy and Legislative Updates panel and will speak on recent changes to not-for-profit legislation in Saskatchewan.
