Winnipeg-based Exchange Income Corporation (EIC) has acquired Hansen Industries Ltd. (Hansen) for $42.5 million.
Hansen is a Richmond, B.C.-based manufacturer of precision metal parts with sheet metal, machining and stamping operations. The company has more than 30 CNC-equipped machines and serves customers throughout Western Canada.
EIC is an acquisition-oriented company focusing on the aerospace, aviation and manufacturing sectors.
“EIC is excited to grow our west coast metal fabrication operations with the acquisition of a leading manufacturer with both sheet metal and machining capabilities,” EIC CEO Mike Pyle said in a release. “Hansen has shown its ability to grow through providing valuable solutions to its customers, which includes being a one-stop solution provider through its diversified operations.”
