Pharmacists Manitoba has named lawyer Grant Stefanson the 2019 Ruban Insurance Friend of Pharmacy Award recipient.
Each year, this award recognizes a non-pharmacist who has made outstanding contributions to success of the pharmacy profession in Manitoba. Local pharmacists nominate an individual they believe goes beyond the daily expectations of his or her job to significantly contribute to the pharmacy community.
Grant and fellow award recipients were recognized at a dinner event on April 12, 2019.
Pharmacists Manitoba CEO, Dr. Brenna Shearer, remarked, “I am proud to recognize these unique individuals and their contribution to the practice of pharmacy in Manitoba.”
“Your dedication to your work, whether it be as a pharmacist or in a role that supports pharmacy practice, is making an impact,” said Pharmacists Manitoba Vice President, Pawandeep Sidhu. “Pharmacists in the province are able to do more than ever before and …the positive image of our practice [is] continuing to grow thanks to you.”
