This post was written prior to our January 2017 merger, under our previous firm name, MacPherson Leslie & Tyerman LLP.

Information Services Corporation (“ISC”) and Crown Investments Corporation of Saskatchewan (“CIC”) have announced that ISC has closed its initial public offering by way of secondary offering, for total gross proceeds of C$147 million. The closing of the IPO completes the privatization of ISC from a Saskatchewan crown corporation to a publicly traded company. A team of MLT lawyers including Aaron Runge (corporate and securities), Stathy Markatos (securities and corporate governance), Nathan Schissel (IT and outsourcing), Doug Ballou (securities) and  Randy Brunet (IT and Outsourcing) acted on behalf of ISC on the privatization, which included the IPO and related closings of the $20 million revolving credit facilities and 20-year Master Services Agreement appointing ISC the exclusive provider of land, surveys, personal property security and corporate registries for the Province of Saskatchewan.
