J.J. Burnell Joins Canadian Bar Association Webinar on Insolvency

Winnipeg lawyer J.J. Burnell will be part of an upcoming Canadian Bar Association (CBA) webinar on insolvency, scheduled for November 7.

Introduction to Insolvency Law, presented by the Insolvency Law and Young Lawyers sections of the CBA, is designed to cover insolvency law basics for non-insolvency practitioners whose clients are directly or peripherally involved in insolvency proceedings.

Topics covered will include CCAA basics, BIA proposals, receiverships and bankruptcy. Registrants can watch the webinar live on November 7 from 12-1:30 p.m. Eastern, or stream it at a later time.

Introduction to Insolvency Law is part of the CBA Fall Law Series 2018, covering new developments, new case law, best practices, legal ethics and current events.
