Jessica Jensen to Speak at Border Issues Conference

Winnipeg lawyer Jessica Jensen will discuss strategies for navigating the U.S. L-1 visa category at the upcoming Border Issues Virtual Conference, hosted by the American Immigration Lawyers Association from March 30 – 31, 2022.

Jessica will speak at the “Advanced L-1 Intracompany Transfer Issues: Executives, Managers, and Specialized Knowledge Individuals” panel on March 31. The panel will discuss the procedural and systemic changes to the L-1 visa category, as well as strategies and best practices for navigating L-1 adjudications.

Jessica will share her insights on difficult L-1 applications, critical evidentiary documents, rehabilitating denied applications, and trends and updates in the adjudication process, among other topics.

Jessica practises in U.S. and Canadian immigration law. She is a member in good standing of the Minnesota and North Dakota Bars, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the Manitoba Bar. She maintains a Foreign Legal Consultant permit from the Law Society of Manitoba, allowing her to practise U.S. law in Manitoba.
