Winnipeg lawyer Jessica Jensen will discuss legal issues affecting the Canada/U.S. border at an upcoming conference hosted by the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Upstate New York Chapter.
On October 28, Jessica will join the Northern Border Update panel discussion at AILA Upstate New York’s Northern Border Conference, taking place in Niagara Falls, Ont. The full-day event features Canadian and American immigration lawyers discussing issues affecting the Canada/U.S. border.
Jessica has written extensively on border issues, including, recent policy changes from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, updates of border COVID-19 policies and technical glitches with the ArriveCAN app for U.S. travellers.
Jessica practises Canadian and U.S. immigration law and maintains a Foreign Legal Consultant permit from the Law Society of Manitoba, allowing her to practise U.S. law in Manitoba. She is a member in good standing of the Manitoba, Minnesota and North Dakota Bars, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
