On November 4, 2020, Agriculture & Food lawyers Kristal Allen and Danielle Graff will present at the Agriculture Enlightened Conference.
Kristal and Danielle will present a session on “Establishing and Scaling an AgTech” with Erin Romeo, founder of Pivot Turn Consulting. In this session, discussion will centre on common issues faced by entrepreneurs when founding a technology-centric business, and through the various stages of growing that business.
This year’s conference theme is “What comes after disruption: why data is the fuel that drives modern agriculture innovation”. The purpose of Agriculture Enlightened is to showcase how stakeholder data collaboration in the agriculture industry will help advance the next stages of innovation with technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning.
The conference is hosted by The Enterprise Machine Intelligence & Learning Initiative (EMILI). EMILI works with industry and academia to accelerate the adoption of intelligent technologies in Manitoba.
