Lawyer Leah Schatz will give a presentation on developing effective workplace cannabis policies at the Canadian Teachers’ Federation Western Staff Conference in Saskatoon on January 28.
Leah will discuss the challenges associated with existing cannabis testing methods, and look at when random, reasonable-cause and pre-employment testing will be legally permitted.
The Western Staff Conference takes place at the Radisson Hotel Saskatoon from January 27 to 30. The annual event is attended by the senior leadership of teacher associations from Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and the Yukon, and rotates between provinces each year.
