Manitoba Underground Opera Achieves Charitable Status

MLT Aikins congratulates Manitoba Underground Opera on becoming a registered charity.

Manitoba Underground Opera (MUO) has achieved charitable status—a breakthrough that comes as the organization celebrates its 10-year anniversary.

“Applying for charity status in Canada is a long and complicated process,” MUO wrote in a recent newsletter to its supporters. “We could never have achieved this milestone without the guidance and expertise of Florence Carey, who is a partner at MLT Aikins in Winnipeg.”

MUO thanked Florence for her hard work and patience throughout the application process.
