MLT Aikins is pleased to announce its support of the Canada Summer Games, which will take place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, from July 28 to August 13. The law firm is also proud to serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the Canada Games Exhibit at the Manitoba Sport Hall of Fame.
Now celebrating their 50th year, the Canada Games are the nation’s largest multi-sport event for young athletes – many of whom go on to represent our country at high-profile international competitions. The Games include 16 sports and 250 events as well as a cultural festival. As host city, Winnipeg will welcome more than 4,000 athletes and coaches plus an estimated 20,000 visitors from across Canada. In addition, the Games will leave behind a legacy of new and enhanced sport facilities that will benefit the Winnipeg community well into the future.
The Canada Games are a powerful, nation-building event that promotes unity, cultural understanding and diversity through sport.
