Scott Bell

Scott Bell (Saskatoon)

Scott practises immigration law with a focus on business and employment-based applications. He assists employers and individuals with federal immigration applications, work permits, Labour Market Impact Assessments, Free Trade Agreement exemptions and permanent residency. He also advises employers on managing temporary foreign workers and complying with immigration legislation.

Tristan Culham

Tristan Culham (Regina)

Tristan is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on agricultural and agribusiness disputes, intellectual property claims and insurance defence. He advises clients in a range of disputes over life science technology rights, including plant breeders’ rights and patent enforcement proceedings. He has also appeared before various arbitration panels, including the Saskatchewan Surface Rights Arbitration Board and the Manitoba Surface Rights Board.

Lynsey Gaudin

Lynsey Gaudin (Vancouver)

Lynsey is a lawyer in the labour and employment group at MLT Aikins, representing public and private sector employers. She regularly advises employers on collective agreement interpretation and bargaining, drafting workplace policies, discipline and discharge, navigating workplace accommodations and human rights issues. Lynsey also practises in the area of professional regulation and administrative law.

Glen Gerrie

Glen Gerrie (Winnipeg)

Glen is a lawyer in the MLT Aikins taxation group. He regularly advises public and private organizations on matters such as personal and corporate tax planning, corporate reorganizations, tax-efficient business structuring and distribution planning, estate planning and business succession planning. Glen also assists clients with cross-border tax issues and disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency.

Danielle Graff

Danielle Graff (Regina)

Danielle is a lawyer in the science and technology group at MLT Aikins, with a focus on technology, privacy and health care law. She advises clients in connection with transactions involving technology, including software development and licensing, commercialization, outsourcing and joint ventures. Danielle has considerable experience assisting clients with procuring IT solutions, advising them on privacy law and compliance issues, and supporting them in the implementation of health-care IT systems and programs.

Jana Linner

Jana Linner (Regina)

Jana focuses on labour and employment and human rights law, representing public and private sector employers in a wide variety of industries. In addition to defending employers facing litigation, she advises clients on collective agreement negotiation and interpretation, the drafting and implementation of employment contracts and workplace policies, disciplinary matters and terminations, harassment and accommodation. Jana’s athletic background contributes to her strong work ethic in all aspects of her law practice.

Scott is a business lawyer with a focus on corporate/commercial law, mergers and acquisitions and owner-operated enterprises. He has experience across a variety of industries and has worked on transactions involving businesses in the agriculture, financial services, health care, manufacturing and transportation sectors. Scott uses his background in commerce and passion for business to help develop effective and practical solutions for clients.

Scott Masson

Scott Masson (Saskatoon)

Scott has extensive experience assisting clients with construction, procurement and real estate matters. He regularly advises clients in a variety of industries on negotiating, developing and drafting contracts for construction projects, and on procuring goods and services. Scott also helps public and private-sector clients develop purchasing documents, such as requests for proposal, requests for quotation and tenders. Scott also maintains a broad corporate practice assisting clients with matters relating to commercial lending and mergers and acquisitions.

Jordan Riese

Jordan is a corporate/commercial lawyer whose practice is primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions. He has significant experience advising both private and public companies on complex transactions involving businesses in a variety of industries, including agriculture, aviation, insurance/financial services, manufacturing, retail and transportation.

Saravan Veylan

Saravan practises in real estate, financial services and corporate/commercial law. He has worked on several high-profile commercial and industrial property transactions and developments; private company mergers, acquisitions and combinations; multi-jurisdictional structured sale transactions; and corporate restructuring transactions and proceedings.

Bradley Zander

Brad Zander (Winnipeg)

Brad maintains a practice focused on corporate/commercial and securities law. He regularly advises publicly traded and privately held corporations in connection with public and private offerings, mergers and acquisitions, takeover bids, the purchase and sale of businesses, shareholder and partnership agreements and corporate governance.
