MLT Aikins Takes Part in CBA Saskatchewan Mid-Winter Meeting

MLT Aikins is proud to sponsor and take part in the annual Mid-Winter Meeting, hosted by the Canadian Bar Association, Saskatchewan Branch. The 2020 Mid-Winter Meeting will be in Regina.

Judges, lawyers, prominent legal speakers and other members of the Saskatchewan Bar are invited to attend the two-day legal conference.

Various Regina lawyers from MLT Aikins will present:

  • Jordan Hardy, Q.C. will present on “An Everchanging Landscape: Recent Updates in Wills and Estates Litigation in Saskatchewan”.
  • Jana Linner will present on “Reefer Rentals, Cannabis Criminals and Weedy Workplaces: The Straight Dope on Legal Cannabis in a Variety of Contexts”.
  • Jodi Wildeman and Deron Kuski, Q.C. will present on “Greenhouse Gas Emissions, National Standards and Backstop Legislation: Saskatchewan’s Perspective on the Constitutionality of the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act”.
  • Kristél Kriel will present on “We Lost What!? A Workshop on Responding to a Cybersecurity/Privacy Breach”.

Kristél Kriel, along with labour and employment lawyer Jana Linner, served on the Mid-Winter Meeting Planning Committee this year.

The annual Mid-Winter Meeting is a premier two-day legal conference designed especially for CBA Saskatchewan members.
