More than $70K Raised for the Prostate Assessment Centre

MLT Aikins Regina is pleased to be a long-term supporter of the annual Uncover the Cure Cocktail Party.

The 11th annual event, which was held on May 24, 2018, raised more than $70,000 for the Prostate Assessment Centre in Regina’s Pasqua Hospital. The firm’s Managing Partner, Don Wilson, was honoured to be a part of the cheque presentation. This donation brings their impressive 11-year total to nearly $1.1 million.

This contribution means advanced technology, more equipment, earlier detection and better treatment of both prostate cancer and other prostate issues.

It includes a specially-trained Nurse Navigator who “provides education and support for men diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer,” as well as a Prostate Pathway that “promotes access to information and objective advice so men and their families can make informed treatment choices… [and receive] timely and appropriate care for the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer.”
