Regina Lawyers & Students Pull EMS Ambulance for United Way

On June 6 a team of lawyers and students from the MLT Aikins Regina office participated in a Team Pull Challenge at the second annual Pulling Together for United Way.

The event is part of the official proclamation of United Way Day in Regina and serves to raise awareness of United Way and initiatives to support Regina’s children.

The firm’s team joined others from the local community to compete in a timed event pulling an EMS ambulance a set distance. The United Way Day celebration took place at City Centre Plaza. Participants were encouraged to raise funds and 100 per cent of donations from the event go to support youth and families in the Regina community.

A collection drive for new or lightly used children’s books called “Stuff the Bus” also took place as part of the United Way Day celebrations. The books are donated to children in the local community in support of United Way’s initiative to improve literacy.

MLT Aikins is proud to help make a difference in the local Regina community by showing support for the United Way.
