Shandra Czarnecki presents at 2017 Accommodation Law Conference

On Tuesday, March 14, Winnipeg lawyer Shandra Czarnecki will present on the year’s top accommodation cases.

Shandra will review important new accommodation cases in Canada and their impact on Manitoba employers. The three-hour morning session kicks off the two-day Accommodation Law Conference (Winnipeg) hosted by the Centre for Labour-Management Development.

This “state-of-the-law” conference is an opportunity for labour and employment lawyers and human resource professionals to stay abreast of new legal breakthroughs in the duty to accommodate and the impact those updates might have on union and employer representatives in Canada. Other presentation topics at the event include accommodating family status, mental disabilities and substance addiction.

The Centre for Labour-Management Development and its online resource portal, labourlawonline.ca, aims to be Canada’s leader in labour law education for the unionized workplace.
