Walter Pavlic Re-Elected as a Bencher of the Law Society of Alberta

On November 15, lawyer Walter Pavlic, a partner at the firm’s Edmonton office, was re-elected to a three-year term as a Bencher of the Law Society of Alberta (LSA).

He finished in the top 20 per cent of the voting results. Walter is the first MLT Aikins lawyer to be a Bencher in Alberta. He follows a long line of fellow MLT Aikins lawyers who have, over the years, been voted into a Benchers’ positions in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

LSA Benchers donate their time to help regulate the legal profession in Alberta. They are responsible for governance (helping to set policy and standards for the LSA and assist in its business planning) as well as adjudication (participating in hearings on disciplinary and membership matters and assurance fund claims).

The firm congratulates Walter on this well-deserved election.
