Andreina is a solutions-focused litigator with proven success in discovering critical legal points in complex disputes and a corporate immigration lawyer focusing on immigration solutions for technology companies.

Andreina maintains a general litigation practice. She has successfully represented clients before the Alberta Court of Appeal, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta and the Provincial Court of Alberta in a broad range of matters, and regularly appears in Master Chambers. In her immigration practice, she focuses on work permits and permanent residency for employees of Canadian technology companies. In addition to practising at MLT Aikins, she is currently on secondment to Harvest Builders Inc., where she provides legal support to their immigration recruitment program, and advises on related employment and general legal matters. She also provides immigration advice as a volunteer at the Women’s Centre of Calgary.

Prior to joining MLT Aikins, she practiced at a litigation boutique firm. Andreina articled in-house with Precision Drilling Corporation followed by working as a Crown Prosecutor where she honed her courtroom advocacy skills. Her prior immigration experience includes drafting and preparing Canadian Family Class Applications for spouses, common-law partners, conjugal partners, dependent children, and parents and grandparents.

Andreina is fluent in Spanish.
