Karlie is an articling student based in the firm’s Regina office.

Karlie obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2023. Prior to entering law school, she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Regina and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Alberta.

Karlie has extensive experience in the public service sector, having worked in various policy roles with the Government of Saskatchewan’s Ministries of Justice and Corrections and Policing. Here she assisted in the development, training and implementation of new legislation and policies for correctional facilities in the province. In addition, she has been an investigator with the Information and Privacy Commissioner for Nova Scotia, where she ensured that public bodies complied with applicable information and privacy laws.

Outside of the office, Karlie enjoys running, travelling and spending time with family.
