- Counsel to financial institutions in placement of securities in a variety of sectors including oil and gas, land development and commercial real estate
- Counsel on complex estates and resulting corporate reorganizations of family businesses
- Counsel to a REIT on an acquisition of a significant real estate portfolio in Iqaluit, Nunavut, including hotels, leased property, rental properties, development lands, apartments and office buildings. The transaction involved refinancing, leases, land consolidations, fire reconstruction and insurance matters
- Counsel to Foundation that owns and operates Seniors Life Lease projects in the Edmonton Capital region with assets exceeding $50 million, providing advice on all legal documents, corporate financing, and further development and construction of Life Lease projects
- Lead counsel to REIT on commercial financing in Alberta, British Columbia, Northwest Territories and Nunavut
