Evelyn is a commercial real estate paralegal based out of the firm’s Edmonton office.
Evelyn has over 25 years of paralegal experience and has worked as a senior commercial paralegal in real estate for the past 14 years. Evelyn handles various real estate matters, including due diligence, initial document preparation, file management, reporting and co-ordination and communication with the transaction parties. She also has extensive experience performing due diligence searches and reports, preparing legal documents, reviewing documents and legal writing. Evelyn is well versed in the technical requirements of Alberta’s Land Titles Registry and is capable of handling a wide variety of land-related transactions. She has extensive experience preparing land titles documents, doing searches, registrations and title reporting.
Prior to joining MLT Aikins, Evelyn worked for a well-known mid-sized law firm for over 10 years as a commercial and residential real estate paralegal as well as a surface rights paralegal preparing and filing documents at the Surface Rights Board. Her well-developed interpersonal and communication skills help her to work seamlessly with clients. She is a personable business professional with strong analytical and organizational skills. She is self-motivated and disciplined with a strong sense of accountability.
