John’s practice focuses on corporate finance, securities law, mergers and acquisitions and corporate/commercial transactions with extensive experience in public offerings, private placements and corporate reorganizations.

John advises clients on general corporate and commercial matters, with a focus on securities law and commercial real estate. He has extensive experience with continuous disclosure, corporate governance matters and compliance matters. He also has acted for buyers, sellers and target companies on numerous transactions in industries including: retail, entertainment, commercial real estate, manufacturing, equipment sales, financial services, and energy services, by way of asset and share transactions and plan of arrangement.

He also acts as external general counsel for a variety of organizations, providing advice on a wide range of matters.
