MLT Aikins is pleased to announce Jana Linner has been appointed as President of the Canadian Bar Association, Saskatchewan Branch (CBA).
Jana’s commitment to the legal profession can be highlighted in many ways including that she has been a member of the CBA since 2005. She has participated in the Regina Mid-Winter Meeting Planning Committee since 2012 and was Chair of the 2018 Mid-Winter Meeting. Jana joined the Board of Directors as Education Director in September 2019 and assumed the role of Treasurer in September 2020. She has advanced through the roles of Treasurer and Vice President to her current position.
Jana focuses her practice on labour and employment and human rights law, representing public and private sector employers in a wide variety of industries. Jana has represented clients at all levels of Saskatchewan courts, as well as the Saskatchewan Labour Relations Board, arbitration boards and various administrative boards and tribunals.
