MLT Aikins is pleased to welcome associate lawyer Josh Deacon to the firm’s Edmonton office.
Josh is an experienced corporate lawyer who regularly advises clients on incorporation, drafting shareholder agreements, the purchase and sale of businesses, franchising and real estate transactions. He has a passion for working with start-ups in a variety of sectors.
Josh also maintains a labour and employment practice, advising employers on their legal obligations and assisting them in drafting employment, consulting and independent contractor agreements.
Josh obtained his Master of Laws degree from Bristol University in the UK in 2019. He then returned to his hometown province of Alberta, where he was called to the bar in 2022.
