Leadership changes and new practice group roles support Vancouver office’s continued growth

MLT Aikins has announced that, after leading our Vancouver office’s growth and development since 2018, Bill Skelly will be stepping down from his executive and practice group roles at the end of 2023. Lynsey Gaudin and Kevin Sorochan will take over as the new practice group coordinators for the Vancouver office.

Since joining the firm in 2018, Bill has played a critical role in the growth and development of our Vancouver office. The positive changes that Bill has overseen in the Vancouver office are too many to mention, but the one constant over all of this time has been Bill’s commitment to the firm and his Vancouver team.

“Bill’s steady hand and experience has helped our western-most office grow to nearly 40 lawyers, creating a momentum and presence in the city that we are confident will serve us well for the years ahead. We extend the deepest gratitude to Bill for his support, guidance and efforts on the executive board and as Vancouver PGC,” said Aaron Runge, managing partner of MLT Aikins.

Lynsey Gaudin will assume the practice group coordinator position for the advocacy group and Kevin Sorochan will assume the PGC position for the commercial group. Lynsey has also been selected by the Vancouver partners to join the firm’s executive board, effective January 1.

“Congratulations and thanks to Lynsey and to Kevin as you take on these new roles. We have a tremendous team in Vancouver and anticipate many more good things to come,” added Aaron.
