PLAY Hockey is proud to announce a new partnership with the western Canadian law firm MLT Aikins LLP.
Winnipeg-based PLAY Hockey, in association with MLT Aikins, is excited to launch its Community Member of the Month program during the 2024 season for Manitoba Junior ICE teams.
The Community Member of the Month program, presented by MLT Aikins, will be awarded monthly April through August 2024 to an individual within the youth hockey community who goes above and beyond. This individual could be a player, coach, manager or team volunteer who contributes positively in the community. Keep an eye out on social media for announcement of the winners!
“Hockey is Canada’s favourite sport and supporting hockey is an integral part of supporting western Canadian communities. This new partnership with PLAY Hockey reinforces our firm’s commitment to amateur sports and provides recognition to the individuals who strengthen our communities from the ground up,” said Adam Levene. Adam is Chair of MLT Aikins and leads the team of lawyers who represent PLAY Hockey.
MLT Aikins is pleased to act as counsel to PLAY Hockey in transactions such as its acquisition of World Hockey Group’s North American and European events in spring 2023.
PLAY Hockey and MLT Aikins will also be creating a custom video series. The series will highlight work being done in the community to create an inclusive environment and further Canadian youth hockey. As a firm, MLT Aikins is a safe, inclusive place for all and continues to build its community presence in the Prairie provinces.
