Conrad has 30 years of experience practising as a commercial litigator with a particular emphasis on bankruptcy, insolvency and corporate restructuring. He has extensive experience negotiating contracts and resolving complex commercial disputes by taking a practical, results-oriented approach. His work extends to advising on commercial contracts, intellectual property claims, banking, construction and property claims, investors’ claims and insurance-related issues, particularly those dealing with business losses.
Conrad has represented clients across a broad range of industries, in all manner of actions before superior courts in Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba and several other Canadian jurisdictions.
Prior to returning to MLT Aikins, Conrad served as chief legal officer for the Brandt Group of Companies. As the first ever chief legal officer for the organization, he was responsible for establishing the Brandt Legal Department including policies, procedures and staffing.
Conrad was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2014.
