Haley practises in the areas of criminal and regulatory law and civil/commercial litigation.

In her criminal and regulatory law practice, Haley assists clients facing criminal or regulatory charges from the initial stages of an investigation all the way through the process. Haley represents clients charged with criminal offences under the Criminal Code and related legislation (such as economic/financial offences, driving offences and firearms offences) and organizations and individuals charged with regulatory offences (for example, occupational health and safety offences (OHS), alcohol and gaming offences, transportation offences and hunting offences).

In her civil and commercial litigation practice, Haley has experience representing clients on a broad variety of matters before the courts, administrative tribunals and in commercial arbitrations.

Haley completed her articles at MLT Aikins after summering with the firm in 2019 and 2020. She practised as an associate in criminal/regulatory law and administrative law at a local law firm before returning to MLT Aikins.

During law school, Haley worked as a research assistant in the area of administrative law and she participated in the Laskin Moot Court Competition in Canadian Administrative and Constitutional Law and was on the winning team for the 2021 SKAEL Environmental Law Moot. Prior to Law school, Haley studied Business Administration at the University of Regina where she worked as a teaching assistant and successfully competed in numerous business case competitions.
