Jacob is an associate lawyer based in the firm’s Regina office.

Jacob maintains a general litigation practice and is developing experience to assist clients in a variety of ways, with an emphasis in the  areas of intellectual property, construction and agriculture 

Jacob obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2023 and was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2024. He returns to the Regina office after completing his articles with the firm in 2024 and summering with the firm in 2021 and 2022.

In law school, Jacob volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC) and became a project lead in his final year. He was honoured with the Chief Justice Richard Wagner Award for the Saskatchewan Chapter, which recognizes exemplary leadership and commitment to PBSC’s mission.

Jacob has prior experience as a dispute resolution facilitator with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Justice, where he gained significant insight into conflict mediation. In addition, Jacob has experience as a legal research assistant at the College of Law in conjunction with the National Right to Housing Network and the Canadian Centre for Housing Rights.

Outside of the office, Jacob is an active participant in powerlifting and has achieved multiple provincial records. He also greatly enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing in the outdoors, flag football and he loves his dogs.
