Janette is a paralegal in our Edmonton office with more than 25 years of experience. She assists with documents related to commercial transactions and foreclosure actions as well as unsecured credit and collection enforcement.

Janette has been in the legal industry for 25 years. Her experience includes drafting corporate commercial and security documents relevant to the completion of commercial financing and refinancing, commercial land purchases and sales, and asset sale and purchases. She has has extensive knowledge and experience in drafting all documents necessarily incidental to foreclosure actions and in unsecured debt collection, including the registration of judgments at relevant agencies, the enforcement of writs and garnishes, and working with CMHC and Genworth Insurers in submitting claims on behalf of lenders and working with trustees representing bankrupted defendants.

Janette has also worked with condominium collections as well as with the Alberta Justice Department in the Fines and Collections Unit. She assisted with the purchase of the Edmonton Driller Soccer Team from the Pocklington dynasty and eventually joined the in-house counsel for the Edmonton Drillers.
