More about me

Jayde maintains a broad estates practice with a focus on wealth management and personal planning, including estate, trust and incapacity planning and estate administration. Jayde has more than five years of experience working with clients, including high net worth individuals, to execute Wills, Powers of Attorney, Personal Directives and Trusts. Jayde’s services extend to assisting clients with various personal and business planning needs such as cohabitation and prenuptial agreements, probate applications and corporate reorganizations.

Jayde has also successfully represented clients in estate litigation and adult guardianship and trusteeship matters, approaching such matters with a resolution-oriented mindset and achieving much success for her clients through settlement and negotiation. Jayde has regularly appeared at the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench.

Jayde has an additional focus on Indigenous estate matters, having worked with many Indigenous communities to execute Wills for their members.

Jayde obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia, appearing on the Dean’s List, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria. Having studied and begun her career in British Columbia prior to relocating to Alberta, Jayde has been called to the bar in both provinces, and therefore has a multi-jurisdictional estates practice and an ability to assist clients in both British Columbia and Alberta.
