Lisa is a paralegal in our wills and estates practice area, focusing on both estate planning and estate administration. She provides practical, comprehensive estate planning solutions and strategies to clients with both simple and complex estates, and assists executors and beneficiaries with all aspects of estate administration.

Lisa spent 10 years as an Estate Planner in the financial services industry before joining the Regina office of MLT Aikins as a wills and estates Paralegal in 2012. She assists clients with all aspects of estate planning including inventorying assets and liabilities, advising on ownership positions and named beneficiary designations, identifying potential estate planning and contentious issues and recommending solutions and strategies to achieve estate planning goals and objectives. She advises on, reviews and prepares wills, powers of attorney, health-care directives, trusts and other supplementary estate planning documents. Lisa also works in the area of estate administration, assisting executors, family members and beneficiaries with all stages of estate administration from preparing and submitting court applications to distribution of estate assets and executor accounting.
