Sophia is a corporate paralegal based in the firm’s Edmonton office.
Sophia has extensive experience in a variety of areas, such as wills and estates, real estate, and corporate/commercial law.
Sophia’s practice includes incorporating in and outside of Alberta, share transactions including exchanges and rollovers, reviewing and drafting agreements, reorganizations, amalgamations, dissolutions, amendments, registrations of partnerships, limited partnerships and trade names, maintaining federal, provincial and territorial corporations, redemptions, dividend declarations, and auditing and maintaining corporate minute books.
Sophia also has experience preparing grants of probate, mortgage documents, residential and commercial land purchase and sale documents, obtaining RPRs, title insurance and tax searches, performing land title, personal property registry, corporate registry and NUANS searches, preparing closing documents and filing annual returns.
Sophia has certification in Cores Level III and is a Commissioner for Oaths in the Province of Alberta.
