We are pleased to welcome lawyer David Meier to the firm’s Calgary office. David joins as Counsel and will be a member of the firm’s commercial group for local real estate matters. He maintains a successful commercial real estate practice, focusing in part on acquisitions, project finance and development and construction.
David advises clients on all matters related to commercial real estate, including acquisitions, sales, leasing and various project financing matters. He has also assisted with corporate acquisitions, reorganizations, energy projects and development and construction related matters.
David was recognized in the 2025 edition of the Best Lawyers in Canada (One to Watch – Real Estate Law). He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023 and the Alberta Bar in 2017, after receiving his JD from the University of Manitoba in 2016. Prior to law school, he received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta in 2011.
