Danielle practices in the advocacy department and provides general litigation services with a particular focus on professional liability defence work, regulatory issues and privacy. She strives to bring an empathetic and practical approach to all disputes, recognizing the stress that is often associated with legal matters.

Danielle has a broad litigation background including civil and commercial litigation, health-care law, privacy law and administrative and public law. She has represented clients before the Manitoba Court of King’s Bench and Manitoba Court of Appeal, as well as before various regulatory bodies in the Province of Manitoba.
Beyond her litigation experience, Danielle has significant experience providing advice more generally in the areas of health law, privacy law and the regulation of professions. She has assisted both individuals and organizations navigate their obligations pursuant to applicable health and privacy legislation, including assisting with the reporting of privacy breaches or being the subject of a privacy complaint. Her experience in the area of professional regulation extends to both assisting members of regulated professions as well as assisting professional regulatory bodies in various capacities, including establishing procedures for handling complaints and advising on governance more generally.
