Janelle Anderson

Janelle is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Commercial group. Her practice focuses on commercial contracting, procurement, major projects, governance, transactions, corporate structuring and regulatory compliance. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Governance Professionals of Canada and previously served as Crown Counsel to the Government of Saskatchewan Ministry of Justice, where she advanced several public policy initiatives. Janelle also previously served as a member of the executive team at a Schedule 1 Bank overseeing governance and regulatory compliance and has practiced law at other mid-sized Saskatoon law firms.

Janelle holds the Designated Governance Professional (GPC.D) certification from the Governance Professionals of Canada, the ESG Global Competent Boards Designation (GCB.D) from Competent Boards and a Regulatory Compliance and Legal Risk Management for Financial Institutions Certificate from Osgoode Hall Law School. She earned her Juris Doctor (2014) and Bachelor of Arts in Regional and Urban Planning (2010) from the University of Saskatchewan.
