Mark practises in the area of banking and financial services, with a particular focus on complex debt financing and lending transactions.

He regularly acts for banks, credit unions, private lenders, and borrowers in a broad range of secured and unsecured financing matters, including real estate and construction financing, multi-jurisdictional and cross-border transactions, asset-based lending, securitizations and vessel and aircraft financing. He also has particular experience advising lenders and borrowers on financing involving First Nations, Indigenous-owned businesses and projects on reserve lands.

In addition to his financing practice, Mark advises clients on major commercial transactions and agreements, including business acquisitions and dispositions, commercial contracts and strategic business arrangements.

Mark is known for his practical, business-oriented approach. Drawing on extensive experience across a wide range of transactions, he is able to identify potential issues early, navigate complex matters efficiently and deliver pragmatic solutions that help clients achieve their objectives.
