More about me

Marissa received her Juris Doctor in 2025 from the University of Calgary. 

Prior to starting law school, she worked as a senior project developer working for multinational renewable energy project developers. She has developed over 1 GW of solar and energy storage utility-scale projects in Alberta, including Travers Solar, Canada’s largest solar project. Marissa also earned her Bachelor of Arts in criminology with distinction from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
