Skylar joined the firm in 2024 as a summer student. She returned in 2025 to complete her articles after obtaining her Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba. During law school, Skylar provided pro bono legal services as a student clinician through the L. Kerry Vickar Business Law Clinic and Manitoba Legal Clinic for the Arts. Skylar has been recognized for her academic achievement at law school with various honours and awards.
Prior to law school, Skylar earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba with honours and majoring in accounting.
