More about me

Sophie graduated with her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2024, where she received the Catherine Miller Community Service Award. During law school, Sophie was a volunteer caseworker for Student Legal Services, where she provided legal services to low-income individuals as a student legal advocate. She also volunteered at the Women’s Law Forum in Edmonton, where she acted on several committees, including the Sexual Assault Awareness Committee. She is trained in trauma-informed practices. 

Prior to law school, she worked as a Women’s Support Worker for Atira Women’s Resource Society and graduated in 2019 from the Kwantlen Polytechnique University with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in psychology and minoring in criminology.
