MLT Aikins is pleased to announce that Kevin Sorochan has joined the firm’s executive board, marking an expansion of the board that corresponds with the firm’s momentum and growth in the British Columbia market.
Kevin is a partner in our Vancouver office where he advises clients on capital markets and securities matters, mergers and acquisitions, governance and financing. He acts for securities dealers in equity and debt financing transactions, including private placements and prospectus filings. He also advises management and special committees with respect to initial public offerings, reverse take-over transactions, take-over bids, change of business transactions, regulatory matters and listings on the TSX, TSX Venture Exchange and Canadian Securities Exchange.
Called to the British Columbia Bar in 2005, Kevin has been long been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada for excellence in mergers and acquisitions law and securities law and by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for corporate finance and securities. He has served as Practice Group Coordinator for the commercial group in Vancouver since 2024.
