MLT Aikins is proud to sponsor Beverley McLachlin: My Journey through Life and the Law, an evening with the Right Honourable Beverley McLachlin being held at the Regina Public Library on November 6, 2025. MLT Aikins lawyers Jana Linner, K.C., Stephanie Yang Morris and Laura Klemmer will be attending the event on behalf of the firm.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear Former Chief Justice McLachlin speak about the personal experiences and professional challenges that shaped her legacy, from growing up on the prairie to becoming the first female and longest serving Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada.

McLachlin will share stories from her life and career that illuminate how she navigated the challenges of being a pioneering woman in law while authoring decisions that continue to shape Canadian society, including landmark cases on same-sex marriage, the right to die, and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

This free lecture is open to the public and will be preceded by a book signing and include a Q&A session. Unfortunately, as seats are limited, preregistration is required.

Update: All seats are currently reserved – further registrations are waitlist-only.
