Sharon Au and Kristin Gibson to speak at the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute

On June 6 in Winnipeg, lawyers Sharon Au and Kristin Gibson will present at the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute FORUM 2023.

The annual hybrid conference brings together Canadian and international experts, with over 20 sessions that focus on benefits, pension and investment hot topics. Learn more about the conference. 

Sharon and Kristin will present “Employment Relationship in the Face of Change”, discussing the duty to accommodate, the changing workplace and managing disability claims. 

About Sharon Au

Sharon’s practice includes commercial litigation with a focus on insurance and administrative law. Her insurance experience includes advising and representing clients in policy matters, coverage disputes and insurance defence. Sharon’s insurance work covers a wide range of areas including disability, commercial general liability, property, and errors and omissions.

About Kristin Gibson

Kristin practises primarily in the areas of labour, employment and administrative law. She advises private and public sector clients on human rights, privacy, occupational health and safety, collective agreement bargaining and administration, policy drafting and discipline. She represents employers in interest and rights arbitrations, and in defending wrongful dismissals and human rights complaints.
