Benjamin received his Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2025. He was awarded the 2024 MLT Aikins Indigenous Scholarship.
Prior to entering law school, he earned a Bachelor of Indigenous Education from the First Nations University of Canada with Great Distinction.
Benjamin is a practicing artist and is interested in the role of the arts in changing public perceptions and influencing social change and the law.
